Behold the tale of Warhammer: Chaosbane

The Warhammer world is about to get a brand new aRPG from Bigben. But before that, check out the back story in Chaosbane’s latest trailer.

The tide of Chaos

I had the chance to preview Chaosbane a few months back, and thoroughly enjoyed it. Bigben and developer Eko Software are building a first for the Warhammer IP, and seem to be doing a great job of it.

What you see above is the opening cinematic, showing the origin of the Chaos insurrection. When the game sees release, you’ll be able to battle the demon horde as a total of four different characters, all of them pretty different.

Players will have the Imperial soldier, high elf, wood elf, and dwarf to wage war as in the game’s campaign. The soldier is a balanced character, the high elf is a mage, the wood elf is a ranged fighter, and the dwarf… well he’s all kinds of rough and tumble.
