The Predator leg of Fire and Stone kicks off in October

Dark Horse Comics’ massive Alien/Predator/Prometheus crossover rages forward in October with Predator: Fire and Blood #1.

A universe of terror drawn to one world.

As the Perses begins her long journey home, a deadly stowaway forces the crew into a savage conflict! While the crew defend themselves against this unseen predator, the hunter itself stalks a much more substantial game!

The big, bad reptilian Predators join the biggest horror event that Dark Horse Comics has ever hosted (I feel pretty confident saying that) here in Predator: Fire and Blood #1. Not only does this mini-series have the promise of throwing the Predators in the mix against their old rivals and favorite prey the xenomorphs, but there just might be an Engineer in there somewhere too. That’s just too cool.

It’s also kind of a soft-relaunch for the Predator line form Dark Horse, which has always been a hit, but could absolutely  benefit from something of a streamline. Integration into the new world that director Ridley Scott has created with the ancient astronaut-centric Prometheus is a huge bonus too, especially if we get to see the title titans tussle at some point.

Dark Horse is on a roll in 2014 and looks to keep on keeping on with Fire ad Stone, catch the Predator portion of the tale when Predator: Fire and Stone #1 hits the racks on October 22nd form the team of Joshua Williamson and Chris Mooneyham.
