Tour the world of Bandai Namco and CI Games’ Lords of the Fallen in this newest look at the game in action.
Main character Harkyn must really be a bad guy. Pretty much all the trailers thus far for Lords of the Fallen have said in some way that he’s not of the best… character, shall we say? Although this time around, there’s no bones about it, there’s something way worse out there in this darkly gothic fantasy title.
From the looks of things too, the world itself is going to be quiet the looker. The settings look nicely varied and the detail levels look appropriately next generation, which is a very good thing as games start to distance themselves graphics-wise from the era of the Xbox 360 and PS3. You might have noticed the pretty great tuneage in there too. That’d be the result of composer Knut Haugen (who did Age of Conan’s score), as he’s produced the musical score for the game.
Feeling like a next-gen (which is really ‘current-gen) game all around, Lords of the Fallen will hit the Xbox One, PS4, and PC on October 28th. If you pre-order the game now, you’ll also get a leg up in the form of the Limited Edition. That version of the game will stock the Monk’s Decipher DLC pack (which helps at digging up secrets in the game’s world) and the Demonic Weapons Pack, which adds in three big bad weapons to your arsenal. From what I hear about the game’s difficulty, you’ll need all the help you can get on they quest.
