Premiering this Sunday on the Discovery Channel, Russian Yeti: The Killer Lives takes a serious look st some very disturbing events in the Ural Mountains in 1959. Get a sneak peek after the break.
If you follow this type of stuff (cryptids and such) this is as cool a special presentation as you’re likely to find. Not only does the team featured in Russian Yeti: The Killer Lives look to take the subject matter seriously, but they’re actually doing a good deal of sleuthing on the case and look to have some new facts and info for audiences who might feel like they know all this stuff already.
There’s actually a surprising amount of info about the case floating out there on the original attack that’s the center point of the special. Several people died in the assault and the circumstances are anything but ‘normal’ or easily explained. Even if you don’t know anything about Yeti, Sasquatch or any other big and hairy beastie, this one’s probably worth a watch.
The show airs this Sunday (June 2nd) at 9pm eastern and pacific. Before you check out the program though, whet your whistle for some yeti hunting with this new double shot of teaser.
