Avengers World #2 (Comics) Preview

A.I.M. rises out of its starring role in the Iron Man 3 film to conquer the Marvel Comics Universe. There’s gonna be an awful lot of yellow jumpsuits in this one.

A.I.M. has always been one of my favorite badguy groups, so I’m pretty excited about this Avengers story arc. Of course, A.I.M. has always taken a monstrous backseat in the Marvel U too, so it’s extra cool to see the group of super-science wielders take the center stage.

Hopefully, this arc will explore exactly who made Earth an ‘Avengers World’ too and what kind of challenges that statement’s going to place in front of the heroes on the roster of Earth’s Mightiest Heroes. Written by the team of Jonathan Hickman and Nick Spencer with pencils from Stefano Caselli, Avengers World #2 (yellow jumpsuits and all) hits the stands on January 22nd.
