All treats, no tricks in Mezco Toyz’ Mystery Boxes

Mystery boxes are usually a crap-shoot of sorts, but Mezco Toyz is taking a little of the guesswork out of the familiar theme with a Mystery Box sale where the contents are known- although there’s still a surprise to be had.

There’s no surprise what you’ll find in the boxes covered with question marks- Living Dead Dolls. The little creeps are big hits with collectors and you’ll score one in every box purchased out of the limited 666 unit set available right now on Mezco’s website.

What is a surprise is that, somewhere in there, is a Krampus. And this is no ordinary Christmas demon either, this one is bright red (much like the flames of hell) and comes with an eerie bone-colored mask. He’s super-limited too as one of the only Krampi to make their way over from Europe, where he was exclusively available.

If you don’t know who/what Krampus is, he’s a demonic creature that follows after Santa Claus on Christmas Eve. Only, where Santa leaves gifts for good boys and girls, Krampus harvests the souls of the bad ones… Yup. Oh and this isn’t a ‘modern’ thing either, as Krampus comes right out of Holiday lore from the olden days of Europe and Father Christmas.

Crazy? Yes. Creepy? You betcha. Cool? Yeah that too.
