The Share Your Universe initiative has been revealed by Marvel Comics with the publishing giant encouraging followers to share what they love about Marvel with younger fans.
Share Your Universe is pretty loaded up with free stuff to be honest. The promotion from Marvel Comics includes comics, cartoon episodes and activities- all of which are free through a number of outlets including the Marvel Comics app and Xbox video through the Xbox 360.
“Every Marvel fan has a unique story for how these heroes, their stories and the experience of entering the Marvel Universe helped shape their childhood—and we want to make it easy to continue that tradition with your kids, nieces, nephews and loved ones,” said Dan Buckley, Publisher & President of the Print, Animation & Digital Divisions, Marvel Worldwide, Inc. “With a new hit animated series in Marvel’s Avengers Assemble on Disney XD every Sunday morning, even more all ages comics available for free through our digital channels and a dedicated line of tie in print comics, there’s never been a better time for parents—or anyone with young fans in their lives—to pass on the timeless lessons of power, responsibility and heroism to a new generation.”
Getting kids into comics and the cadre of heroes that call them home is something that’s definitely very near and dear to our hearts here at Brutal Gamer. After all, a program like Share Your Universe really introduces so much more to kids than ‘just’ comics.
Superheroes in the modern age are downright entertainment phenoms. They star in video games, toys and movies and are seemingly everywhere. Share Your Universe really exposes kids to all the entertainment mediums of the day.
