McFarlane expands new Page Punchers line into 7″

It looked like McFarlane Toys’ newest DC Comics lineup would be smaller in scale, but there’s a pretty impressive wave of 7″ figures coming too.

Going big

Just announced last week, McFarlane Toys’ Page Punchers are 4″ figures, each with 5 points of articulation, and packed with a comic book. Or actually, that’s what they were. Yesterday though, we learned that the company is planning not just one Page Punchers line, but two.

And if you guessed that line #2 was going to be of the 7″ variety, you’d be right. Falling in line with McFarlane’s standard DC Multiverse figures, the new 7″ PP lineup will be just as fully featured, with plenty of articulation and accessories. The only differences seem to be in the packaging… well that and the comic books.

Wave 1 has just hit pre-order, and looks to center on future DC movie star Black Adam. It includes:

A new Black Adam and Constantine should be highly appreciated by fans. That’s especially since we don’t have a Constantine at all in the main line, and this new Black Adam is pretty wicked looking.

I’m sure another Batman and even Superman wasn’t all that high on wish-lists, but these are admittedly pretty sharp. If you haven’t noticed too, they’re all pretty clearly inspired by the fan-favorite art of one Lee Bermejo. So that’s a high point there all by itself

All 4 of the figures are set to hit this August, and the price tag is $24.99 USD each. Hit the links above if you’d like to pre-order from our sponsors at Entertainment Earth.
