Let’s get to the really fun design portion of today’s lesson, shall we?

Sometimes, making games is a frustrating, arduous, painful process…and then you start making the game.

Well here we are again, trying to figure this beast out. In the week since, I’ve solidified some preliminary ideas, setup some very basic rules, and decided how to actually prototype and playtest it.

Making Games is a new column here at BG, one that focuses on exactly how games are made. That’s lucky, seeing as how I’m making numerous games while I finish my post-graduate program in Game Design.
