Dark Horse and Mike Mignola team for fiendish new Krampus statue

Just in time for both Halloween and the upcoming Christmas season, comes word of a new Krampus statue from Dark Horse and artist Mike Mignola.

A nightmare for Christmas

Fresh from the pages of Hellboy: Krampusnacht comes this new vision of the terrifying holiday beast Krampus. Released first in 2017, the one-shot Krampusnacht comic spun out of the mind of Hellboy creator Mignola himself, aided by the mighty pencils of one Adam Hughs.

And it’s from that, that we got a special Krampus miniature for the Hellboy board game. And in turn, it’s from that, that we get this brand new piece.

Hellboy Krampus Statue – Mantic Series!

  • Price: $179.99
  • This limited edition statue is based on 2017’s Eisner Award-winning Hellboy: Krampusnacht, the one-shot comic book by creator Mike Mignola and artist Adam Hughes. In 2019 it was then turned into an exclusive, unpainted, mini-figure for Mantic’s Hellboy: The Board Game, as a limited-time expansion. Standing approximately 12.25 inches tall from horn tip to the creaky floor board base, Krampus is crouched atop a cabinet of skulls ready to make mischief for Hellboy.
  • “Working with our good friends at Mantic and Level 52 Studios, we’ve enlarged and meticulously painted Hellboy’s favorite yule goat in gorey detail,” said Dark Horse Direct Director of eCommerce, Melissa Lomax. “This festive and eerie statue begs to adorn your mantle year round. Celebrate being on the naughty list this year and pre-order today before it descends back into the depths beyond!”
  • Hellboy Krampus Statue – Mantic Series is available for pre-order.

Priced in at $179.99 USD, and brandishing a certificate of authenticity, the statues are up for pre-order now. They’re expected to ship in about a year, in fall 2022.
