Here’s the first gameplay footage of Shadow Warrior 3

Looking absolutely gorgeous is Deep Silver’s Shadow Warrior 3. The First-person shooter/slasher is packed with sword swinging, demon killing action.

Wang-power

Shadow Warrior 3 is looking impressive. No, like really impressive. An FPS that seems to revel in not only over-the-top blood and gore, but also laughs aplenty, and tons and tons of fast action.

The title, from developer Flying Wild Hog, also looks to check off just about all of the modern FPS boxes. It’s got gunplay with plenty of hardware, demons to slay, a grappling hook to get around and use in combat, and the series’ signature melee weapon – the katana. Add phenomenal looking graphics to that, and you have what might be one of the best FPS of 2020.

To show it all off, publisher Deep Silver has released a 17 minute slice of the gameplay from the title’s campaign. The video takes place in the “Way to Motoko” level, and showcases boss fights, as well as all of the mentioned mechanics.

Oh yeah, and plenty of Wang.

Hitting a serious stride? I’d say so. As a huge FPS fan myself, I love how Flying Wild Hog is evolving this series. It’s definitely a genre game at heart, but the developer has thrown in so much that it feels different than your run of the mill run-and-gunner.

The graphics are pretty spectacular too, at least here in this trailer, with a great level of detail and polish. They do have the glow of next-gen to them, which makes you wonder when we’ll actually be seeing SW3 out and about.

Personally, I cannot wait for that.
