The Call of Duty: WWII multiplayer beta starts next week

One of the biggest multiplayer games of 2017 is about to get its beta. Your first taste of Call of Duty: WWII is right around the corner.

WWII goes into beta

It might be hard to believe given the game’s announcement a while ago, but we are rapidly approaching the launch of Call of Duty’s reinvention. Not just a new CoD, WWII returns the shooter series to its second World War roots. Arguably, that was the game’s golden age, and I think it’s safe to say that hopes are pretty high once again.

Launching on consoles and the PC on November 3rd, we’re under 3 months away from diving back into the European front. Though, if you pre-ordered, you are much closer than that.

Hitting on August 25th, the closed multiplayer beta will begin on the PS4. It won’t be too long though, before Xbox One gamers can join in, so don’t be too sad if you’re on that side of the console war. September 1st sees the latest CoD’s beta start on on that platform.

Remember, the beta that is coming up isn’t an open one. but joining in isn’t all that difficult. All you have to do is pre-order the game on physical disc or digital download, and you’re in.

According to Activision, that’s all it takes to get an invite and have at it. So if you’re into a return to WWII, click here to see about ordering a copy up.
