Age of X

As an X-Men fan myself, I have to say I’m pretty pumped for this. Well, this and what’s hitting afterwards. Prime will look to set the stage, so it’s a can’t miss book if you’re looking to get into this new mutant initiative. That said though, it’s not the main event.

That’ll come with X-Men Blue and Gold, the twin series’ that’ll star Marvel’s premier mutant super-team(s). In those books, the X-Men will reconstitute into a form that most fans have very fond memories of.

Personally, I’m getting all kinds of 90s, Jim Lee era deja vu off of this whole thing. Blue and Gold teams being brought back will do that. And that’s a very good thing by the way.

About Jason Micciche

Jason's been knee deep in videogames since he was but a lad. Cutting his teeth on the pixely glory that was the Atari 2600, he's been hack'n'slashing and shoot'em'uping ever since. Mainly an FPS and action guy, Jason enjoys the occasional well crafted title from every genre.
