Street Fighter annual on the way from Udon

Udon’s Street Fighter Unlimited comic series is about to get an annual issue.

Street Fighter Unlimited goes annual

Annuals are kind of odd creatures in the comic publishing world. They’re part of the series’ that they compliment, but rarely does anything happen in them that makes them a must-read. Still though, picking up an annual is kind of like buying a bonus issue of your favorite read. And they’re usually loaded up with stuff that you might not see otherwise. That’s kind of the case here, with Street Fighter Unlimited: Annual #1.

The one-shot book has a quartet of stories, all of which were formerly exclusive to the hardcover Street Fighter collections from the publisher. So if you missed out on them before, this is your chance to read.

They all sound pretty neat too:

Juri faces off against the deadly doll Decapre! Ibuki battles the mysterious Q! Sakura and Dan get down to some serious training, and Chun-li tangles with the Mad Gear Gang!

And of course, this bering Udon, there’s some stellar talent on board. Omar Dogan, Jim Zub, Ken Siu-Chong, Matt Moylan, and Takeshi Myazawa are all present to lend their talents. You’ll find a pair of covers too, one by Rob “Robaato” Porter, and a second retailer incentive cover by Hanzo Steinbach. Plenty to like there.

Comic shops are taking pre-orders for the book right now, so you’re free to add this one to your pull-list asap. Look for it on the racks come this December.
