No gods or heroes in new Mad Max commercial

The wasteland of Mad Max is a dangerous place indeed.

Cheery!

As with the recently released movie, Mad Max the game is all about the desolate Australian wasteland and the complete insanity that rules over it. A sort-of epilog to the film, the game follows Max as he goes head-to-head with Scrotus, Immortan Joe’s other son and warlord in his own right.

So that means that, while the game doesn’t follow the plot of the movie, you can still expect to be battling War Boys aplenty, and running into the various machinations that the Immortal one used – like those awesome grenade spears and massive, patched-together rigs.

Ready to head back into the madness? Mad Max hits the PS4, Xbox One, and PC on September 1st. And if you pre-order before that magical date, you can secure yourself a nice little bonus in the form of a fully-upgraded body for the Magnum Opus (that’s Max’ car). Get in on that here.
