Choose your own madness in this new Mad Max trailer

Do you like your Mad Max trailers a little more interactive? Then you’re going to love this new Choose Your Path trailer that lets you see how a few of the different choices you can make in the game can play out.

So as you can see, there are a few ways you can play this one. It looks like tackling Scrotus’ troop of War Boys won’t be all that straightforward, but will take a mixture of different tactics as Max and Chumbucket (that’s the guy in the back of the car) make your way across the Australian wasteland.

Also worth noting, especially for fans of the film that recently hit theaters, is that the super-storms will indeed play a part in the game. If you saw the movie, then you saw one of the best action scenes in years, as a massive windstorm raged as Max, Furiosa, and the War Boys battled. We hadn’t seen any shots of that in the game (which doesn’t follow the narrative laid out in the film), but it’s nice to know that the extreme weather in the post-apocalyptic Earth will indeed factor in.

So far, so good; Mad Max pulls into the Xbox One, PS4, and PC on September 1st.
