As a longtime superhero fan in general, I have to say that I’m not all that enamored with the idea of DD shedding his secret identity. I mean, the secret double-life is kind of one of the biggest parts of being a superhero in the first place and Marvel has had a penchant for eliminating that trope as of late. And not that that’s particularly new when you’re talking about Daredevil, but I’m just not a fan of that.

That being said though, it is kind of awesome that Daredevil is working on an autobiography. It’s also neat that DD #15.1 is all about him recollecting some of the most interesting cases from his past as a crime-fighter. That’s just some cool stuff right there, and if you’re a fan of DD, it’s a love-letter to the past of the character.

Daredevil #15.1 arrives on the racks this coming April.
