The Jackbox Party Pack brings the party to Xbox One and PS4

Just in time for those Holiday get-togethers, Jackbox Games has a five pack of party games all set to fill in the uncomfortably silent gaps with the likes of You Don’t Know Jack, Fibbage and more.

Always good for a few laughs, Jackbox Games’ list of digital download titles are a solid time no matter the occasion. This time of year however, it’s especially nice to have a little something to actually do while all those guests are at your house. How much small talk can you actually make after all?

The Jackbox Party Pack includes no less than five games, with You Don’t Know Jack 2015, Fibbage XL, Drawful, Word Spud, and Lie Swatter all included in the download and some which actually incorporate your mobile phone as a drawing surface. “Most” games in the box allow for a solid 8 players as well, which is probably more than enough for a family party, but Lie Swatter is absolutely massive with a possible 100 players joining in. And while that’s a decidedly online proposition, Jackbox says that the rest of the games in the box are of a more ‘local’ co-op variety.

“Our focus is couch-play, same-room party games,” says Jackbox’s GM, Mike Bilder. “Some of our games are playable with one player, but all of them are a blast with a group. A couch is optional, but would probably be quite comfortable.”

If you’d like to get in on the party fun, the Jackbox Party Pack is available now for the Xbox One, PS4, PS3, and the Xbox 360. You can grab a copy for only $24.99 USD, and there’s a free trial version of two of the games in the pack on the PSN, so you can give it a go before you decide.
