Dark Souls 2 heading to Xbox One and PS4

Bandai Namco has officially announced Dark Souls 2: Scholar of the First Sin.

Not a vanilla re-release with better graphics, the PS4 and Xbox One edition of one of the toughest action/RPG’s in recent years will have something new to offer gamers. From Software’s title will have new elements and additions that look to expand the narrative in the game. So even if you’ve played the game before, you might want to have a look at Scholar of the First Sin to learn a little more about the world of the popular series.

Dark Souls 2: Scholar of the First Sin will hit the Xbox One, PS4, and PC, but it’ll also be arriving on the PS3 and Xbox 360, the difference being that those latter versions won’t have the updated graphics of the former. Also expect to see a free download pop up if you still have a copy of the PS3 and Xbox 360 versions, which will add in the new content (again though, no change to the graphics) at no charge.
