The Doodler hops into Gotham City in Doodle Jump DC Superheroes

Lima Sky’s little hopping protagonist is making the jump to the DCU in a new mobile mashup available now.

The game that keeps on going, Doodle Jump makes a few more leaps here than just a change of venue and added DC Comics skins (really just Batman though, from what I can tell). For starters, the chase mode is brand new, where the Doodler-Batman has to chase down baddies while staying on course.

Then after the chase, comes a fight as Doodle Jump DC Comics brings the boss battles form the Kinect edition to mobiles. As much as I liked the original Doodle Jump, and I played the heck out of it, I definitely thought the boss fights form the Xbox 360 version made it feel more like a traditional platformer.

With the original sitting at #3 all time in terms of sales on the App Store, Doodle Jump does’t look like it’s going anywhere any time soon. Doodle Jump DC Superheroes is available right now on the iPhone, iPad and iPod touch. You can grab a copy for yourself here
