Halo 2 Anniversary shows off some magical multiplayer with Warlock footage

Get a glimpse of the classic multiplayer map Warlock (and an oddball or two) in this new footage released for Halo: The Master Chief Collection.

Oh man am I having some great memories looking at this one. I LOVED Halo 2’s multiplayer mode like no game since (and few games before), so I’m all kinds of itchy right now to get my hands on the remake of the game and put in a few more hours. I mean, I’m not even a fan of multiplayer in pretty much any genre, and I loved what Bungie had done with Halo 2’s.

This version of the game of course, is coming out of 343 Industries, the developer that took over the franchise after Bungie flew the coop to work on their own stuff for a while. It looks like there’s nothing lost in the translation though as the old game looks seriously good. Fast, merciless gameplay paired with graphics that make your eyes dance? Yep, I’ll have some of that please.

Halo: The Master Chief Collection (f which Halo 2 Anniversary is a part) hits shelves for the Xbox One on November 11th, 2014… which can’t come soon enough.
