A Wolf Among Us comes to current generation consoles next month

Telltale Games’ latest graphic adventure masterpiece is not he way to the Xbox One and PS4, as well as the PS3 and Xbox 360 in boxed format.

Based on the comic book series Fables from DC Comics’ Vertigo imprint, The Wolf Among us tells the tale of Bigby Wolf, a character who in reality is the actual Big Bad Wolf. Bigby is the sherif in a town of Fables in the 1980’s. What are Fables? Just fairy tale characters banished to the real world, nothing special. Everything’s pretty cool till things go bad when someone starts murdering them, and that’s where the game starts off.

The Wolf Among Us plays out in the now familiar Telltale style, similar to The Walking Dead, so you know what you’re getting here. What you’re also getting is the developer’s usual smart writing style and excellently twisty moral choices- the best seen in games… maybe ever.

If you somehow missed out on Wolf during its original digital, episodic run, you can catch it in physical form very soon. Much like a box set of DVD’s or Blu Ray discs that pop up after the season of a TV show has ended, the game is hitting the Xbox One, PS4, PS3, and Xbox 360 as a boxed title, and it’ll be here this November the 4th. If you skipped it once, make sure you give it a look the second time around.
