The final chapter of The Wolf Among Us wolfs out this week

The last final chapter of The Wolf Among Us is here at last.

Following a bloody trail of murder and corruption, Bigby Wolf confronts a powerful enemy: a dark force that has been feeding on the desperation of Fabletown’s seedy underbelly. But when hidden truths are revealed, you must decide exactly what justice means in the gripping season finale of ‘The Wolf Among Us.’

Well, this is the big one, the last part of the opening season in Telltale Games’ excellent series based on the DC Comic called Fables by Bill Willingham. If you’ve been following along, then you might have some idea of what’s coming in the season one swan song. If not, well, now you can buy all five parts to season one in one fell swoop and pay all the way through what’s been one of the very best games in Telltale’s catalog.

This one’s not for the faint of heart, but if you dig mature (and I mean actually mature, not heads blowing off and big explosions mature) storytelling, I don’t think you can do much better. The Wolf Among Us launches on the PC, Mac, and North American PS3 tomorrow (July 8th). Xbox 360 and European PSN gamers can get their wolf on Wednesday and iOS players can nab theirs on Thursday.
