E3 2014: Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End trailer shows an older, semi-retired Drake

Drake and Sully set out on the fourth, and maybe final, game in the Uncharted series.

Adding the subtitle of ‘A Thief’s End’ is rather ominous, as is the voiceover that runs along the video. Nathan Drake has become one of the biggest stars in the game world, and Naughty Dog has made a serious name for themselves with the IP since its debut on the PS3. Now on the PS4, Uncharted makes its first impressions in a trailer that could spell doom for Drake, his partner Sully, or both of them really as when you get down to it, they’re really both ‘thieves’.

If it is the end of this chapter, it’s also possible that we’ll be seeing the introduction of another treasure hunter to take Nate’s place in the series. Who that might be (if that’s the case) certainly hasn’t been revealed as of yet as this is the very first mention of the title in any capacity. One thing is already certain though, with this footage being captured right off a console, this is going to be one good looking adventure- whenever we might see it gracing the PlayStation 4.
