The Walking Dead ‘A House Divided’ soundtrack released

Maybe the best episode of The Walking Dead yet? Could be, and the music isn’t bad either.

Not that The Walking Dead, as a series, hasn’t gotten a ton and a half of high marks already, but Season 2 was off to a somewhat slow start. Episode 1 was released over the Holidays and got very little fanfare and few comments one way or the other.

Episode 2 though, that’s another story. The second installment of the second season of Telltale’s master stroke of storytelling is already getting praise from media and fans alike and it looks like the series is definitely back on track. Where we and Clem go from here is still a mystery as we’re not exactly sure when the next episode will arrive, but to hold you over in the meantime, Telltale has released a special auditory gift.

Available right now, you can grab the first song from the soundtrack for the game, In the Pines by Jared Emerson-Johnson and Janel Drewis, for free. Just log onto the site right here to download the tune, which is an American folk-song that Telltale points out to be of believed southern origins.

More music in the same vein can be had by clicking right here, all of which should fit right in with The Walking Dead universe that the company has honed to a fine edge. And if you’re looking for more actual track from the game itself, it’s coming up. Telltale says that full soundtrack will indeed be releasing a little later this year, as soon as the season comes to a close.

About Jason Micciche
