Final Exam co-op trailer kills like, a billion monsters

Upcoming side-scroller Final Exam supports four-player co-op play and, to take on this many beasties, you’ll probably need it.

Final Exam is a completely insane, monster-filled 2.5D side-scrolling action title from Mighty Rocket Studios. We’ve been following the game for a while now and, while the single-player looks plenty fun, the newly detailed co-op mode looks like one of those games that’ll be perfect for parties and game nights.

It has an interesting twist as well as you can either stick together as you play for a better chance against the tides of baddies that you’ll face, or split into teams of two to get things done and advance much quicker.

Already fun in single-player, Final Exam takes on a whole new dimension in Co-op, as demonstrated by the new trailer that presents the gameplay features in 4-player mode: split your team up to achieve your objectives as quickly as possible, or stick together to increase your chances of survival against the waves of increasingly powerful and aggressive monsters. Playing with other players in Co-op mode opens up new combat opportunities: “juggle” with the monsters to deny them a single moment of respite, cover your team mates while they re-load that mighty rocket launchers, or protect them as they transport an item that will be critical for your next objective!

Look for Final Exam to hit the Xbox 360, PS3 and PC in early November.
