Beat ’em up fans look to be getting a special treat, as SNK Playmore’s King of Fighters XIII maybe due for a PC release.
Although, no official announcement has been made, there was a downloadable trailer available for King of Fighters XIII: Steam Edition in the Steam Store, however, it has been taken down since. No other information was available at the time, apart from the trailer itself.
The game was originally released back in 2010 for arcades in Japan, eventually being released for both Xbox 360 and playstation 3 a year later, and now after a very long wait, it looks as though PC gamers will finally get a chance to get in on the action.
I myself haven’t played through every single game in the series unfortunately, but I did once own a Neo Geo, that’s right, I was one of the few people in the world to own the actual console itself and you know what? I loved it to bits and I still do, but that’s enough of my obsession with the marvelously underrated Neo Geo. The point I was going to make, was that I enjoyed playing the few games in the series that I did purchase and it’s great to see that the series is still going strong.
