Europa Universalis IV discovers a release date

Paradox’ next entry in the popular Europa Universalis series raises anchor and sets sail for retail.

Is that global domination calling I hear? Paradox certainly hope so, as their newest lets players take command of a country during the age of exploration and guide it through the ages and take it towards global dominance.

And in addition to the single player campaign Europa Universalis IV also supports a massive 32 player multiplayer mode. Now I’m not the biggest strategy player around, but that sounds like a monster amount of players online for one.

EUIV arrives on the PC in both standard and Digital Extreme Edition on August 13th.

About Jason Micciche

Jason's been knee deep in videogames since he was but a lad. Cutting his teeth on the pixely glory that was the Atari 2600, he's been hack'n'slashing and shoot'em'uping ever since. Mainly an FPS and action guy, Jason enjoys the occasional well crafted title from every genre.
