Steam Launches ‘Early Access’ Section

A chance to play some games before release and shape their future.

Steam has added a new section to it’s already sizeable store.  The ‘Early Access’ section gives you a chance to buy and play games before they’re released, and potentially shape the future development of the game by giving feedback to the developers.

At the time of writing, there are currently 12 games in the Early Access section.  These games include Arma III, Prison Architect, Drop That Beat Like An Ugly Baby and Patterns.  As with release versions of Steam games, any early access games you buy will be automatically updated as an when the developers update them, and you will be able to play the full game on release.

You can find the full list of available games on Steam here.
