Ubisoft Registers Several ‘Watch Dogs’ Movie Domains

Ubisoft turned a few heads this year at E3 with the reveal of their upcoming (and possibly next-gen) title Watch Dogs. some new domain names have recently been discovered that seem to hint that the company may be looking to cash-in on all that attention by making a movie out of the IP.

On June 14, Ubisoft registered four Watch Dogs movie-related domains  (WatchDogsmovie.com, WatchDogsthemovie.com, Watch-Dogsmovie.com, and Watch-Dogsthemovie.com) according to a Fusible report.

Obviously, domain registrations don’t necessarily mean that the company is going to make a movie out of the upcoming video game, but it’s also not too crazy an idea when you consider that Ubisoft did form a film studio back in 2011.

We will keep an eye out for on any additional Watch Dogs movie news, but for now consider the idea as nothing more than speculation until something official is announced.
