On the PlayStation Blogcast it was made known that Square Enix was in the process of putting a demo out for it’s upcoming Final Fantasy XIII-2 game. This not all that unusual as most Final Fantasy games have had demos since FFVII on the PlayStation, but it is the first chance many outside of Japan will be able to get some quality time with the game that is squarely (ahem) aimed at fixing the previous game’s problems.
This morning, UK time, official word came from Square Enix Europe that the demo would hit both XBOX 360 and PS3 on January 11th. The date for the US version is the 10th of January, so get your JRPG mindset on as it’s time to kill some oddly designed monsters.
