SDCC: Ultimate Marvel vs Capcom 3 Unveiled *Updated With Trailer*

In a move everybody and their dog could see coming, Capcom has made it’s Marvel vs Capcom 3 expansion, Ultimate Marvel vs Capcom 3, official.

The new updated version of the game, set for release this September, will feature 12 new fighters that will bring the roster to 48- an even 50 with the Jill and Shuma DLC pack. (somewhat) Softening the blow that you’re going to have to go out and buy another copy of the game is that the title will retail for a budget firendly ‘mid-range’ price.

Also adding to the feature set is the newly rebalanced gameplay, an online spectator mode, and “other new modes and enhancements”. So far, the new ‘legends’ announced are: Hawkeye, Firebrand (from Ghosts & Goblins), Ghost Rider (yay!), and Strider.

About Jason

Jason's been knee deep in videogames since he was but a lad. Cutting his teeth on the pixely glory that was the Atari 2600, he's been hack'n'slashing and shoot'em'uping ever since. Mainly an FPS and action guy, Jason enjoys the occasional well crafted title from every genre.
