“Child of Eden” and “Shadows of the Damned” not selling well in the U.S.
A few more June NPD sales numbers have been released and it’s not looking good for Kinect’s core title and Suda 51′s latest effort.
NPD Group told video game website Joystiq that for the month of June Child of Eden sold approximately 34,000 units on the Xbox 360, and Shadows of the Damned moved only 24,000 copies on the PS3 and Xbox 360 combined.
Suda 51′s games have always struggled at retail and the game received mixed reviews so Shadows’ low sales are not terribley surprising. Child of Eden on the other hand was billed as being a “core” Kinect game and it’s low sales could be an indication that the upcoming “core” game shown at E3 for Kinect might face the same struggles at retail.
