GeniaWare Doubles In Size

In a time when many companies are scaling back and cutting jobs, Italian developer Geniaware has finished an expansion that doubles its size, and is aggressively recruiting new developers with unheard of perks like free Italian lessons and even free living quarters. GeniaWare is hoping to add to their XBox360 and Playstation 3 development teams in particular. Says  Daniele Spadaccini (pictured), “The game currently under development is a really ambitious project and we are putting together new gameplay mechanics that will enable the game to appeal to a broad range of users. Console versions are extremely important for our target audience, so we decided to further expand our efforts across these platforms.”

GeniaWare , an independent developer that is growing quickly, describes themselves as “leading-edge technology together with a rapidly expanding international team that combines experience, skills and passion and aims to deliver multi-platform innovative entertainment experiences.” They do not offer much in the way of clues as to what type of game they are working on, stating only that it will require 30 minths to complete and asking fans to be patient and wait for news in the “near future”.
