Playdead’s dark puzzle platformer has managed to warm our cold, dead hearts.
So you have read the stunning review of Limbo but you still have your reservations. I can see your point. Look, the game is hard to explain and sounds artsy and that may not be your thing. However, you don’t really know until you try.
It happens to be the perfect type of game for the weekend no matter what your plans. It saves your progress so often that you can pick it up and put it down without worrying about losing anything but it is engaging enough to hold your interest if you just plan on sitting around all weekend.
Play though it for fun and it delivers, play though it for a quick bump in gamer score and it won’t disappoint.
Also, coming in under 20 bones puts Limbo at the right price for a weekend game.
Just understand ahead of time that you will be the one trying to explain the game to your friends on Monday while they look at you like you are crazy.
Limbo is available as part of the Summer of Arcade on Xbox Live Arcade for 1200 Microsoft Points.
