Xbox Live to be discontinued for original Xbox titles
And the heart of a millions of Halo-fans shatter.
Lets be honest here, this is a fucking bombshell for gamers not wanting to upgrade and Halo 2 players.
Microsoft have confirmed that on April 15th, that all servers (and general access) to Xbox Live from original Xbox titles will no longer be available anywhere in the world. I don’t know about you, but I was gob-smacked when I heard about this – I can only imagine the pain that the huge fanbase that Halo 2 online still receives are devastated. I’m sorry for your loss.
R.I.P Original Xbox Live – you’ll be missed, thank you for the hundreds (if not thousands) of hours of entertainment you gave me on Halo 2, Star Wars: Battlefront and Conkers Bad Fur Day: Live & Reloaded.
