METAL GEAR SOLID: PEACE WALKER Details Revealed
Mother Base, AI Weapons, and multi-player elements
The “Mother Base” is an offshore plant, which acts as a hub for items and personnel collected within the game. Apparently you can collect former enemies, to be housed in your base, that will help you throughout the game in various ways.
New AI weapons include unmanned behemoths that Snake must overcome to complete his mission. These include hover, airborne, and tank-style vehicles. Each AI Weapon can talk and even sing during battle using VOCALOID technology.
Multi-player will allow four-player co-operative missions, three-against-three battlea, wherein six players can form teams and engage in linked battles via the Sony handheld’s Ad Hoc capabilities.
METAL GEAR SOLID: PEACE WALKER will be released for PSP™ May 27th.
