Titled Gravity Crash Anthems no less!

Our review of Gravity Crash made one element abundantly clear – the music was great from start to finish.   In fact I wrote these very words in the review :-

Audio wise the game is firmly gunning for Geometry Wars’ audience with tons of eurohouse and dance inspired electronica pounding out of the speakers.  Although not a real favourite area of music for me the soundtrack fits the game perfectly and amps up the adrenaline rush you get playing the game.  Coincidentally the music was written by recent interviewee Tim Wright and demonstrates yet again what a top class game composer he is.

Well Tim and Just Add Water have announced that the soundtrack is now available for purchse via the CoLD SToRAGE website run my Tim for the reasonable sum of £9.99 (about $17).  The complete Gravity Crash Anthems album consists of 16 tracks, which add up to over an hour’s worth of music.

Speaking to VG247 Tim had this to say :-

“Writing the score for this game was a total joy for me.  Although I have to compose in all manner of styles based on the requirements of each project, my musical roots are firmly planted in the 80’s where I first discovered a love for electronic music.”

For me one of the highlights of Gravity Crash was Tim’s musical score so I recommend you at least head over and take a listen to some of the tracks on offer.  If you enjoyed the Shatter soundtrack then this is probably right up your musical alley.  Want to read more about Tim?  Go scout out our interview with him from before Xmas.  The PSP version of Gravity Crash will be out sometime this year featuring new content from the PS3 edition.
