Microsoft ‘Game Room’ Announced
Step into Microsoft’s Arcade O’Wonder.
During Microsoft’s keynote at CES 2010, they revealed details about a new service that will be available for Xbox 360 and Games For Windows in the Spring called the ‘Game Room’.
The Game Room will consist of a number of different arcade games that you will be able to play. Theses games will cost 40 MS Points per play, or you can buy a virtual cabinet for a game with unlimited play for 240-400 MS Points. You will be able to transfer games between your Xbox Live and Games For Windows accounts, and you will also get your own ’space’ which you can decorate and put your cabinets in and invite your friends. There will be 30 games to choose from initially, with Microsoft aiming to have over 1,000 to choose from within the next 3 years.
