Japanese hardware sales – week ending November 29th

See, I told you there were more charts coming.

And this is also the reason why I hate Monday mornings in Winter, a zillion different chart-based articles and the kettle taking tens-of-minutes to boil because of it being so god damn cold.

Anyway, the Japanese hardware sales are now available, and the DSi LL is still selling stupid amounts, selling 67,243 units in a single week. Its nearest competition is the Wii, selling 46k units – it’s hardly competition when both are owned by the same company really… it is definitely Nintendo land over the Christmas period.

The two consoles everyone are really interested in – Xbox 360 and Playstation 3 – once again, Sony’s Playstation 3 has completely destroyed the 360 this week, selling 46,558 units while the Xbox selling a mere 3,685. Don’t worry Microsoft, you might sell more than them one day in Japan.

  • DSi LL – 67,243
  • Wii – 46,673
  • PS3 – 46,558
  • PSP – 38,839
  • DSi – 37,021
  • DS Lite – 7,268
  • PSP go – 3,809
  • Xbox 360 – 3,685
  • PS2 – 2,057
