Killzone 2 double exp event this weekend to celebrate Killzone turning 5

Happy birthday Killzone!

Its time to party ladies and gentlemen, wack out the party hats and the glow sticks because Killzone has just turned 5 years old. And to celebrate, Guerrilla Games has announced over on the Playstation Blog that this weekend, you’ll be able to participate in a double exp event, but as they want the event to be all nostalgic, you’ll only be able to get double exp on the games retro map pack (the 2nd one).

If you don’t have it though, don’t worry, you’ll be able to pick it up for $2.99 from the PSN store and the whole map pack bundle for $10. All of which will be on sale until December 10th, not bad to celebrate the birth of a iconic series.
