Activision Considering Guitar Hero DLC Subscription
In case you didn’t already know, Activision wants your green.
It’s already well known that Activision are considering a subscription based service for Call of Duty. But it isn’t going to stop there, oh no. Activision are now considering a similar service for DLC for the Guitar Hero franchise.
Guitar Hero founder Kai Huang told the Seattle Post “That’s definitely one of the things we would love to do. There are a lot of issues around music licensing. Consumers want it; I know I want it. We’re trying to make that happen.”
Probably this will be only of use to heavy DLC downloaders. If they do go through with this, hopefully it won’t be compulsory and you can still pay to download individual tracks and packs without paying a subscription.
