PS2 Launching In Brazil This Month

There’s life in the old dog yet.

The PS2 has sold a ridiculous number of units since it’s release several years ago.  Now Sony will be bringing the console to Brazilian gamers.

Brazil will see the PS2 launch later this month, with a retail price of R$799 (around £270) with games retailing between R$99-R$119 (roughly £60-£70).  There will be at least 14 titles available at launch, including such titles as Gran Turismo 4 and God of War II.

Looks like Sony could be adding to their already phenomenal 140m+ unit sales for the PS2.
