No More Heroes coming to PS3 & Xbox 360
Now that was a suprise – NOT!
The totally platform exclusive No More Heroes has.. well. jumped platform. Moving from the Waggle-tastic Wii and into the HD era GrassHopper Games’ cartooney blood fest should look super sweet. No firm information for a release in the West but it will hit the Japanese market on February 25th 2010 for the handsome proce of 5,040 Yen. The game was released to high praise around 18 months ago but failed to set the cash registers ringing on the gaming-lite Wii platform. Hopefully this time people will see what a totally awesome title this is and Grasshoper will make the green.

Hmm… I’ve been reading people saying how much better it’ll sell on PS3 and 360, and I’m not convinced.
In Japan, it will probably get more PS3 sales, but in the West I think most gamers see No More Heroes as a bit of a niche and I can’t see it performing much better.
Guess we’ll wait and see.

This will be interesting. Personally, it will say one of 2 things to me:
1) It will sell poorly and reflect games like Assassin’s Creed on PC… release so much later and anyone who wanted it already played.
or 2) It will sell like mad and reflect badly on console gamers. You guys are REALLY so belligerent about a change of gameplay that you wont even try this when it’s new? (Sure a few will have missed it, but really, how many missed it and how many played it down because it wasn’t on a gamepad?)
Not to sound mean, but Im hoping for option 1… Id like to think the gaming community is better then that.
