November is Movie Time for the PS3
Netflix and UK/EU video store are GO!
Looks like November is the month for movies in Sony-land ™. For our cousins over in the US the new NetFlix streaming rental service is now live. Over here in the EU/UK the PSN Video Store has been given a final go live date of Wednesday 18th November. The streaming services for the UK will be similar to the service offered in the US earlier this year and be a per movie rental purchase. The NetFlix system will require a disc from NetFlix (lame!) to operate for the next 12 months whilst we presume the remainder of an exclusivity deal dwindles out with Microsoft. After this 12 month period the NetFlix client will be integrated in to the XMB much like the VidZone player and the BBC iPlayer here in the UK.
