Guild Wars 2 Due In 2011
NCsoft spills the beans on the sequel.
Guild Wars is a fine MMO. It was already known that a sequel was in development, but in a recent conference call, NCsoft’s Chief Financial Officer Jaeho Lee said that the company were not making any major game launches in 2010, with Guild Wars 2 and another project ‘Blade & Soul’ coming in 2011.
Lee told investors “I believe there will be certain public events in the year 2010… at least a closed beta test for those titles. Commercialisation will be expected, at this point, probably some time in the year 2011″
Certainly, a lot of people will be looking forward to this. Should be a good one.
