Microsoft Launch US Xbox Live Rewards Program

Looks like you will finally get something extra for your Gold subscription.

Microsoft have rolled out a rewards program for Xbox Live in the US, with free MS Points given to you for doing certain things.

You will points for renewing your Gold subscription, getting 10 points for 1 month renewals, 30 points for 3 months renewals and 200 points for 1 year renewals.  In addition, you get 200 points for subscribing to Netfilix, 100 points for making your first Xbox Live Marketplace purchase, 100 points for participating in surveys about the rewards program and up to 5% back on all Xbox Live Marketplace purchases.

Here’s hoping they’ll do a similar thing in Europe.  In the meantime, you can view all the details here.
