Rumor – Wii Price Drop Coming?
If it’s good enough for Sony and Microsoft, I guess it’s good enough for Nintendo.
Some retail listings have made their way to Kotaku, indicating the there could be a price drop for the Nintendo Wii in early October. An early Walmart ad has been seen, showing a ‘rollback’ on the price of the Wii, although no actual price was displayed.
The Wii hasn’t had a price drop since it was released, and with the PS3 and Xbox 360 coming down in price, and business for the Wii being down at the moment, it would make sense for the Wii to be a little bit cheaper. However, it could just be that Walmart are just going to have a special offer on the Wii. Still, this is merely a rumour and nothing has been officially confirmed yet.
