Dark Void flying on worldwide shelves in January ’10

It seems that a lot of game developers have a ‘thing’ for 2010, another one being delayed.

If you were looking forward to Dark Void’s release on September 22nd, prepare to have your dreams smashed as Capcom have announced that it’s going to be put back by around 4 months and is now going to launch onto store shelves in January 2010; January 12th for North America and January 15th for Europe and everywhere else.

It can be taken as both a good and a bad thing that it’s being delayed really; good because it won’t be competing with Halo 3: ODST as it was supposed to be launched on the same day and it gives it a few more months of being polished, the bad side is that it’s now going to be competing with triple-AAA games like God of War III, Splinter Cell: Conviction and Gran Turismo 5.
