Only 2 map packs planned for Modern Warfare 2
Only 2 map packs apparently, hard to believe? I think so!
Activision’s CEO Mike Griffith has said that the next big FPS, Call of Duty: Modern Warefare 2 will (apparently) only receive 2 map packs through-out the games life cycle. Both of the map packs will hit Microsoft’s Xbox 360 (Xbox Live) before the PC and PS3 versions.
“We plan to launch two separate map packs for this title” said Mike Griffith, CEO of Activision.
For some reason, I find this incredibly hard to believe considering Call of Duty: World at War has just received it’s third map pack and Call of Duty: Modern Warfare only received one. As long as the 2 map packs are quality, like the Variety map pack for the original Modern Warefare, I’ll be happy.
